What is your privacy policy?

Privacy for School or District Staff

No one can access the usernames and passwords of any school district or school personnel except the person who has the username and password. When you first log on to I Can Write Online, you will be given a username and password. You will then be required to go to a website where you will change that password to one only you know.

Privacy for Students

Even though your student work is stored on our server, we do not have access to it, because the classroom teacher will assign each student a unique username and password. That teacher and the student are the only persons who can view the student's work over the Internet.

If you wish to display a students' work in an “electronic” Author's Chair using an LCD projector, you may do so. The best policy is not to display a student's work in progress unless the student is comfortable with that practice.

Personal Information

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We only use the information we collect about you and your students to process orders and to provide support and upgrades for our products. When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address and mailing address. This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status. We will never sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.
